Henrietta Dubrey’s paintings are autobiographical deconstructions of life and experiences of the world around her.  She interweaves both figurative and abstract compositions, recognisable by their bold lines and shapes that form a 'gestural web'. Following childhood holidays in Cornwall, she was drawn to St Ives by its rich artistic heritage and the middle-generation St Ives artists, such as Roger Hilton and Terry Frost.

Henrietta studied at Wimbledon School of Art, Byam Shaw School of Art, and the Royal Academy Schools. She has since exhibited internationally, frequently at the Royal Academy Summer Show, and in several galleries across the UK. She lives and works in St Ives, Cornwall.
