FAQs - Shipping and delivery

 

Sarah Wiseman Gallery will ship artworks from the UK worldwide. We work with a range of professional couriers, shipping agents and art handlers. Your artwork will be packed appropriately and all arrangements taken care of by the gallery in order for your artwork to arrive safely.

 

How shipping at Sarah Wiseman Gallery works –

 

-          Smaller artworks available for online purchase can either be collected from the gallery or sent to your address (UK & USA only). We will post your order using either Royal Mail 1st Class 24hr Signed For or ParcelForce 24hr Mon – Fri Delivery. Jewellery will be sent using Royal Mail Special Delivery. Smaller items going to the USA will be sent via Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed - please note that import duties and taxes may apply to any order being shipped internationally.

 

-          For larger artworks, please enquire with the delivery destination and we will come back to you with a shipping quote from a specialist courier. You can then purchase the work online, please select the ‘arrange after purchase’ option at the checkout. We will send you a custom link to purchase the shipping. 

 

-          For shipping outside of the UK & USA, please either select ‘arrange after purchase’ during checkout or press enquire to receive a shipping quote from us via email. Please note that any order shipped to outside of the UK may incur import duties and taxes when reaching its destination.

 

Packaging & Breakages –

We package each artwork with the utmost care using recycled packaging, ensuring it is protected as much as possible from damage. In the unlikely scenario your artwork arrives damaged or broken, please get in touch so we can solve this accordingly. You have 2 days upon receiving the artwork to report any damages.

 

Returns –

If for any reason you are not happy with the artwork bought online, please notify us as soon as possible and arrange sending the item back to us. You have 7 days to contact us once you have received the artwork. Please note that you are responsible for any damages to the artwork after sending it back to us.

You are responsible for the return shipping costs. Refunds are processed on receipt of the artwork at the gallery and via the original payment method. Unless the item is faulty, your original delivery costs will not be refunded.

 

Sarah Wiseman Gallery is a registered Art Market Participant as directed by new government legislation and follows guidelines for purchases of more than €10,000 (approximately £8,500). For more information, please click here.
