We were delighted to host a launch evening to honour our solo artist Rebecca Swainston on Wednesday 9th February. Launching her solo show ‘Embodyment’ Rebecca was joined in attendance by her creative collaborator, the poet Lesley Saunders. Lesley performed a live reading of some of her recent poetry collection ‘Days of Wonder,’ which has been inspired by some of Rebecca’s paintings. She penned other poems during lockdown in 2020.
We were also delighted to see exhibiting artist Rowenna Mayell, whose work is also currently on display, and our recent exhibitor Jim Whitty.
Thanks to all those who attended and made it such a special evening - many of you were kind enough to tell us how much you enjoyed it.
