Ewan Taylor is a contemporary London printmaker whose bold, text-based screen prints draw inspiration from pop culture, film, music and the power of the spoken word. Blending striking typography with themes of love, identity and human connection, his contemporary art prints combine intricate design with playful humour, echoing the spirit of the 1950s Pop Art movement while remaining distinctly modern.
Originally from Aberdeen, Scotland, Ewan studied at Edinburgh College of Art before relocating to London, where he now lives and works as a British contemporary print artist and filmmaker. He prints at Print Club London and has collaborated with renowned fashion designer Katharine Hamnett on her iconic Choose Love charity campaign. Ewan has exhibited his limited edition prints at leading art fairs and institutions, including The Other Art Fair, The Affordable Art Fair and Saatchi Gallery. In 2021, he held his first solo exhibition at The Farm in Soho. His print Women of The World Take Over was selected by Grayson Perry for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2022.
