Lucy Physick’s ceramics are a timeless homage to historical shapes and forms, found in ancient Greek and Roman urns and vases. She marries function and beauty in each piece, using complementary glazes resulting in fresh takes on classic styles.
Each ceramic is hand thrown stoneware, made in Lucy’s home studio in Lancaster. Lucy studied 3D Design at university and has honed in her skills as a ceramicist learning from professionals in Stoke-on-Trent – the British cultural home of Ceramics. She is also a full-time college lecturer in Fine Art & Ceramics.
