Emily Fermor’s handmade jewellery has a contemporary approach to using semi-precious gemstones. Her work experiments with textures to create an attractive tactile finish while considering the practicality of everyday wear.

Emily chooses her gemstones intuitively from trusted suppliers; for her debut collection at the Sarah Wiseman Gallery, we can see semi-precious gemstones with an autumnal palette. Ranging from the celestial tones of Labradorite, to the warm honey notes of Citrine & the lustrous sheen of Pearls, the stones are set in hand raised Sterling Silver.

Emily trained as a jeweller’s apprentice in Woodstock when she finished school and continued there for 9 years before starting her own business in 2014. She is currently working in her studio on the Rousham Estate in West Oxfordshire. Emily also works to commission to reinvent precious heirloom pieces into wearable contemporary treasures.
